Try to update the theme to the latest version. The latest version is 2.2. There are just major changes you should watch for, like the live streaming improvement, settings is on the page itself and not on Wise Panel.
Thanks. I presently have 2.0 but I don’t know how or where to update. I thought I would have been notified that an update is available, like many of my other themes.
You can download the latest update of the theme manually on your ThemeForest dashboard. For automatic updates, you can install Envato Toolkit plugin. For reference see 2.3 Updating a theme in our documentation.
Please be more specific. Unable to find the update, even with your reference documentation. Please post a link directly to the download. Thank you.
Please disregard my previous post. I was able to find it. The problem is that the file name (themeforest-17070450-wise-church-the-wisest-multipurpose-church-wordpress-theme.zip) is the same name for both the 2.0 version and the 2.2 version. I suggest that you add the following info within the file name “v.2.2”

PaulNew problem. Now that I was able to download your 2.2 version of Wise Church, I tried to install and received the following error. View screen shot HERE.

By the way, love your “Site Maintenance Mode” theme. Nice addition.
If you’re going to download the whole package, the file name is wise-church-2.2.zip and if you’ve installed it, it will appear as version 2.2. If we change the original folder wise-church to other than that, there might have an error on its installation path, that’s why we only rename it in the zip file.
You should delete first the original wise church theme, but not the wise-church-child. You only need to update the wise-church parent theme and not the child theme. The maintenance theme is added to avoid losing widgets in the update process. To update the theme and avoid the above error, follow this steps.
1. Upload and activate wise-church-maintenance.zip theme.
2. Delete the old theme wise-church on your WordPress dashboard. Appearance => Themes.
3. Upload and activate the latest version wise-church-2.2.zip. You don’t need to update the child theme. If you have a modification in the previous child theme, you may reactivate that child theme.The screenshots you’ve shown means there’s still an existing wise-church theme installed, you should remove it (parent theme only) to upload the latest one.
Are there any tutorials concerning the new “major changes” you stated that I you should watch for, like the live streaming improvement? It’s confussing!
Also, what other changes should I be looking for and, are there any tutorials for those changes?

It is just the live streaming setup. Before, you’ll use Wise Panel to setup a live stream on its built-in player. Now, if you create a page, you’ll set it up in the page itself. (See 3.15 Create and Configure Live Streaming Page)
